Yes! We are hoping for this to be a fun weekend for the whole family. We are planning on having some childcare for Saturday evening. We also totally get it if you want to leave the kiddos at home.
Yes! If we missed a plus one on your invite, just let us know. It should be fine!
No :( We love your doggies so much, but the camp directors kindly asks that you do not bring your pups. We have special permission to bring Cora, but she will most likely be sleeping under a blanket the whole time.
There will not be a lifeguard at the waterfront. Swimming will be at your own risk. There will be canoes, kayaks, and lifejackets for adults and big kids. Little kids under 2 or 3 should bring their own lifejackets.
If you're staying at camp: Pack the basics for a summer weekend away. Keep in mind the camp doesn't provide pillows/linens or towels. There is no a/c but nights have been in the mid-low 60's. Pillows, sleeping bags or sheets and a blanket for a twin bed should do the trick. We'll have some flashlights for getting around at night. We'll be serving all meals from dinner Friday to brunch on Sunday, but feel free to bring a cooler with any additional food or drinks you might need. Other things that you might consider: reusable water bottle/canteen, beach chairs, floats for the lake?
Two years ago when we started planning we were so hoping that COVID would be in the dust by now. It's not so we are graciously asking that you do 'The Drill' for us so we can all enjoy the weekend worry free: test at home before you arrive and stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms.
