Margot and David’s story began at Boston University (BU), where they were social chairs for their respective Greek organizations. While their goal was to plan a killer mixer, they ended up starting an epic love story. David asked Margot on a date at the George Sherman Union with the hopes of learning what makes her laugh as mixer planning was extremely serious. Their dates turned into Celtics and Bruins games where Margot learned about David's love for Boston sports (even though he was from New York and liked the Cowboys). When they weren't at a game, they were studying. Both sets of parents commented how their grades were the best since starting college. As their relationship progressed, David relocated to New York City for his job. Margot enjoyed exploring a new city while supporting David with his career. When unable to be together, they were FaceTiming and trying to find ways to make the distance seem smaller. They rescued their beloved Boston Terrier, Mikey, who is the center of their universe. Margot graduated from BU, and since the pandemic was in full swing, David decided to move to Boston and isolate in place with Margot (and her family). They later moved into an apartment in Framingham and continued to strengthen their bond through adventures. They hiked a lot, visited the Cape, and spent time with their favorite Boston Terrier trio, Oscar, Charlie and Mikey. At the end of 2024, David landed his dream job and convinced Margot to try southern living and move to Charlotte, North Carolina. While they love the weather and barbecue, they are still Bostonians at heart. David surprised Margot by proposing in Kiawah, South Carolina, on the beach during a romantic Valentine's weekend getaway. It was one of the most memorable proposals with candles, rose petals and the beautiful ocean scenery, creating a moment that felt timeless. As Margot and David look ahead to their wedding celebration, they are excited, grateful, and can’t wait to dance the night away! They are eager to begin their new chapter surrounded by the people they love most.
