Ryan & Margo’s story goes way back… all the way to international waters (okay, not literally, but close enough). In the spring of 2014, both were studying abroad in Spain—Ryan in Barcelona, Margo in Seville—when their paths first crossed. The timing wasn’t quite right, but fate had other plans. As it turned out, Ryan’s hometown friends and Margo’s college best friends were one and the same. From that moment on, they always kept an eye on each other… or at least, their mutual friends kept reminding them that they should... Fast forward to March 2021. Our good friends in Annapolis, did what all great friends do—they set up a dinner with an ulterior motive. A group gathering at Sailor Oyster Bar turned into an undeniable chemistry test between Ryan & Margo. Every time they engaged in conversation, the rest of the table fell silent... watching... listening... Luckily, the skinny margs were flowing and the "set-up" was as natural as they come—and a huge success. When Margo left for home that weekend, Ryan found himself yearning for more, both secretly knowing that something special was brewing. Summer 2021, Ryan & Margo began a long distance relationship, Ryan continued to live in Annapolis and Margo residing in Hoboken. A year later, love (and a questionable amount of optimism) led Ryan to pack his bags and move into Margo’s 700-square-foot apartment. It was in that tiny apartment that Ryan learned the art of city living from the master with 10 years of NYC living under her belt!! Then came May 6th, 2023. Ryan, with a few years of city living under his belt - learning the ins and outs of the importance of a dinner reservation in NYC... orchestrated a picture-perfect day in Long Beach Island, NJ, where he popped the question. But he wasn’t alone in making the day magical—what was supposed to be a rainy forecast turned into nothing but sunshine. We all know that was Margo’s mom, Peggy, pulling some strings upstairs to make sure their big moment was shining bright. In January 2024, life threw the best surprise of all—Margo & Ryan found out they were going to be parents! And on September 11th, 2024, their greatest adventure yet began with the arrival of Jackson "Jack" James Evans. Now, with their little ring bearer in tow, they can’t wait to celebrate with all of their favorite people on July 26th, 2025. It’s been quite the journey, and we wouldn’t be here without the love and support of our incredible friends and family. We feel so lucky to have you all by our side. So from the bottom of our hearts—THANK YOU! Now let’s get ready to celebrate… see you all at the altar!
