Two of our best pals, Coleman and Melissa Harrington, got married in St. Paul, OR in September 2018. Margo was helping her aunt Kimmie with flowers and setting things up at the venue, when a group of Rangers who had just flown in from Georgia started walking over to say hi. Marcus and Margo shook hands and it was all over from there. They started talking more during the rehearsal dinner, made eye contact throughout the entire wedding ceremony the following day, and finally hit it off on the dance floor that night. Marcus asked for Margo’s number the next day and she tried to turn him down. He insisted that she would hear from him again. After 4+ years since meeting, 3+ years of dating, and countless flights, here we are!

On Saturday, July 2nd, Margo thought she was planning her own going away party over the St. Paul Rodeo. Over 30 friends and family hung out at her Grandpa’s farm before going to the show that night. Little did she know, everyone had a huge secret they were keeping. Margo almost ruined everything by going on a beer run right after the bull riding portion of the rodeo ended, but thankfully made it back in time. All of the sudden, the St. Paul Rodeo announcer, Justin McKee, starts telling a story that caught Margo’s ear. He said something along the lines of, “A few years ago, a Georgia boy met a St. Paul girl and 3 years ago right here in section F, told her that he loved her.” Margo looked up at Marcus who was now standing (thinking it was already time for another beer run), looked around and the entire crowd had cleared with their phones out and huge smiles on their faces as Marcus dropped to a knee. Easiest yes ever. Go big or go home, right??
