Where do I stay?

Answer

Your best option will be a location in Kilmarnock or Irvington! This will be the closest area to the venue (Anywhere from 5-20 min) There is a hotel in Kilmarnock where we have blocked off rooms(Quality Inn)multiple Bed and breakfasts, and of course Air BnB's! We recommend an Air BnB for larger groups! We also would like to advise everyone to be prompt in their bookings to ensure you have your stay secured. Although there are plenty of options, capacity is limited so it is best to get everything squared away sooner rather than later!

Are there Ubers?

Answer

No! We are in a very secluded country area where Ubers are non-existent. Please plan to drink responsibly/ have a plan for a sober driver.

Best places to eat?

Answer

We have the cutest places to eat in town! Lots of options and hole in the wall small town vibes. For lunch we recommend- Small town burger, The office Bistro, and The local. For Breakfast/ Brunch we recommend- The Carwash Cafe, The Kilmarnock Inn, Bay Bistro, and The Local. There are also coffee options as well; Front Porch Coffee House(non-chain) and then Dunkin Donuts as well.

Where is the nearest Airport?

Our nearest airport options would be Richmond International (RIC) or Norfolk International (ORF) Richmond is an hour and 30 minute drive and Norfolk is 2 hour drive from our location.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding due to limited venue space. We hope you understand!
