We're Getting Married!

It started in 9th grade Biology class. A "straight-A" student, she sat in front, while he, a "class clown," sat in back. They passed each other several times but never thought to take a second glance. Little did they know, their paths would soon intertwine, finally crossing at the party of a mutual friend. One conversation led to another and, before they knew it, they went from high school classmates to carpool buddies and study buddies in college. If they weren't busy with their heads in their books, Cameron would sneak away to play piano while Margita complemented his playing with her singing. A match made in Heaven, one would think, but what really brought them together was their mutually indescribable love for their dogs, Ginger and Reggie. From the moment they saw how crazy one another became around their dogs, a "puppy love" began to blossom between Cameron and Margita and they became each other's best friend.

Cameron and Margita always found the end of every year bittersweet. Spending Christmas and New Year's Eve with their respective families, it inevitably meant they spent time apart. However, after 5 years of dating, Cameron and Margita decided to mix things up, embarking on a new adventure together in beautiful North Carolina for their first Christmas together in 2016. Instead of buying Margita another Christmas present, Cameron decided to surprise her with a marriage proposal. As luck would have it, they both caught a bad case of the cold and spent the entire vacation indoors. Cameron's proposal went from underneath hundreds of sparkling Christmas lights to a proposal in Uncle Tony and Aunt Alane's living room - surrounded by their three lovable, furry companions. As part of his proposal, Cameron pulled out his guitar, asking Margita to sing his own rendition of Taylor Swift's "Love Story", changing the lyrics to outline their 5 years together. Once Cameron pulled out the ring, Margita could not wait to say "YES!". In sickness and in health, these two make loving effortless. All they need is love, music, and those four-legged, furry friends called man's best friend. --- We would like to thank all of you for your continual love and support.
