Is your ceremony/reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony and reception will take place at The Mora Farm in Waterman, IL.

What time should I arrive for your ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place right at 4:00 pm CST! We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior to ceremony time so you have plenty of time to find a seat and get comfortable.

What is the best way to RSVP and by when?

Answer

We ask that you please RSVP right here on our website under the 'RSVP' tab. We will not be doing mailing RSVP's. We also ask that you please RSVP no later than September 15th. Can't wait to see you!!

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

It is a combination of both! Weather permitting, we will be performing the ceremony outside under the big tree in front. If rain, we will still be outside but under a covered cobblestone area. Following the ceremony, the reception will take place inside the barn. (There will be heaters inside if it is too cold in the barn)

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

The dress code at the wedding will be semi-formal/dressy casual! Keep in mind that it is October here in the midwest and the weather can be unpredictable! Prepare for anything :)

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Answer

Yes! We have room blocks at the Hampton Inn- Dekalb for a discounted rate. The bride and groom, as well as most of the bridal and groom party, will be staying at this hotel. You can call the hotel directly to book. More instructions are listed under the 'Travel' tab of the website.

Will there be a shuttle to/from the hotel and venue?

Answer

There will be a sprinter bus at the hotel to take the bridal and groom parties to the venue and will bring the bride and groom back to the hotel as well as the bridal and groom parties. There will be some space left over on a first come first serve basis. Our wedding coordinator Kim will help direct this. Otherwise, Ubers or designated drivers will be other available options. Please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns about this! We are willing to help!

Is there parking available at your venue?

Answer

Yes there is! There is plenty of parking as well as a parking staff director that will be there to guide guests.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invitations will address you and either your already known plus one or an option for a 'guest'. We can only accommodate you and whoever is listed on the invitation. Please let us know if you are bringing a guest when you RSVP on the website.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We adore your children, but due to space/ due to budget we are hosting a child free wedding. We are one accommodating children within the immediate family who are from out of town and our flower girl/ ring bearer! We hope you understand and pleas let us know how we can help.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have a limited selection of beers/seltzers, wines, and Him and Her specialty cocktails that will be served. Tips to the bartenders are greatly appreciated! :)

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence is present enough! Should you want to get us a gift, there will be a table for cards at the venue for your convenience! Any other gifts can either be sent to our home address or brought to the wedding venue and given to our coordinator. We appreciate you so much!
