We met at a local coffee meetup in 2014 in Minneapolis. Margie was doing an internship in Minnesota and looking to make friends. Something stood out about Brian, and he invited her to dinner that week. After another week, they decided to try dating, and the rest is history!
We didn't know how long COVID-19 would be disrupting our lives, so we had a very small ceremony in 2020 after getting engaged earlier that year. We wanted to celebrate in person, so here we are.
We decided to get married in late 2019. In January of 2020, Margie took Brian to one of their favorite parks. She had recorded piano accompaniment the day before on her phone, and she hit "play" and sang Brian a song they both liked, with different words. She got down on one knee, got out a ring, and asked Brian to marry her!
