Cabrillo National Monument

Answer

**Rocky terrain around the event venue, recommended to wear non-high heel shoes. There will be time after the ceremony to explore the Cabrillo Visitor Center and Lighthouse. The 84 bus route will take you from Cabrillo to the hotel if you would like additional time to explore and hike. There is a chance that your phone pings within Mexico, it is recommended to put your phone in airplane mode before entering to avoid international charges. Entry is covered if you are riding with the planned transportation.

How do I get around?

Answer

Transportation will be provided the day of the wedding. Transportation will pick up (9:45AM) and drop off (11:15AM) at Sea Harbor Hotel for the wedding, and pickup (3:20PM) for the cocktail hour. The sunset cruise launch is located a short drive/decent walk from the cocktail hour venue. Transportation will drop off at Sea Harbor Hotel after the sunset cruise.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

That depends on how long you're staying in San Diego/how much you'd like outside of the wedding. Transportation the day of the wedding is addressed above. Lyft and Uber are widely available. The bus and trolley systems are reliable and easy to use, too!

Sunset Cruise

Answer

Cake will provided on the cruise. Snacks and beverages are available for purchase on the boat. We recommend taking Dramamine before the cruise to avoid sea sickness.

Where should we eat?

Answer

There are many good restaurants in San Diego! Some of Nicole and Margaux's favorites include Mitch's Seafood, It's Raw Poke, Tribute Pizza, and Colima's. See the "Things to Do" tab for more options.

When can I hang out with the couple?

We will be at OB Dog Beach on Saturday from 10am-2pm. Bring your swimsuit and towel for a beach day!

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend Humphreys Half Moon Inn or the Sea Harbor Hotel. Transportation on the day of the wedding will make a stop close to these two hotels. There is no wedding block so book at your leisure!

Can I bring my kids and a plus one?

Answer

We are prioritizing an intimate ceremony, so we are asking that you leave the kids at home. Spouses are welcomed. Kids and plus ones are invited on the sunset cruise; please make a note in your RSVP of your party size.

Where should I fly into?

Answer

San Diego Airport is certainly the most convenient and close, but it can also be expensive and inconvenient with layovers especially if you're flying from Indiana. You could also fly into LAX and take either the Amtrak Surfliner or the ReLAXSAN shuttle.
