This is the #1 airport we recommend since it's located right there in Merida. From what we have seen, Tuesday's seem to be the most cost-efficient day to fly.
Flight
Cancun is the next closest airport, although it’s four hours away from Merida. We recommend purchasing a rental car for the days that you will be in town, as this will give you ultimate flexibility to travel around as you please. If you're looking to save some money, we suggest purchasing a ticket on a comfortable ADO charter bus for right around $39 (see link below).
