Garden Party Formal - If you are attending the rehearsal dinner, please refer to your RSVP for the dress code!! Ladies are encouraged to wear dresses in cheerful colors, florals, or soft prints, while gentlemen may opt for lightweight suits, linen jackets, or sport coats with dress pants. For inspiration, our bridesmaids will wear shades of pink, and our groomsmen will wear light jackets and ivory dress pants. The island is a vibrant and colorful place, so embrace the bright hues, soft pastels, and joyful patterns as you celebrate with us!
Due to the venue being located on a private residential street, guest parking and vehicle access will not be permitted. To ensure a smooth arrival and departure, a trolley will provide transportation for all guests. The trolley will begin picking up guests from the Innlet Hotel at 4:45 PM and will transport them directly to the venue. At the conclusion of the evening, the same trolley will begin returning guests from the venue to the Innlet Hotel starting at 9:00 PM. Please plan accordingly, and we look forward to celebrating with you!
This is a lovely remote island that feels like stepping back in time. Getting onto the island requires passing through a toll booth, but once you arrive, getting around is wonderfully easy. Golf carts are the preferred mode of transportation, and most destinations are within a pleasant walking distance. If you approach the island with the right expectations, it can be a truly wonderful experience. This is not a bustling resort destination but rather a small, remote island with the charm of Old Florida. Embrace the slower pace, enjoy the natural beauty, and you'll discover a unique getaway that feels worlds away from modern-day distractions. By following these few tips and planning accordingly, you'll be able to enjoy everything the island has to offer and make the most of your visit!! A few things to keep in mind during your stay: there is no gas station on the island, and the local grocery store is quite small and closes at 4:00 pm. Just off the island, however, you'll find both a gas station and a Publix for any larger shopping needs. If you are arriving after 4:00 pm without a dinner reservation, you will not find food on the island. We recommend stopping before coming to the island to stock up on the essentials! Island life moves at a relaxed pace, so most shops close around 4:00 PM, and most restaurants finish service by approximately 9:00 PM. As this is opening week, we highly recommend making dining reservations in advance! Uber can be somewhat unpredictable when it comes to trips to and from the island. If you have an early morning departure, a late-night arrival, or simply prefer flexibility, we suggest arranging a rental car or private transportation ahead of time. If you have any questions or concerns before your trip, please don't hesitate to reach out to Margaret Mary (913) 426-1457!!
We kindly ask that you RSVP by September 1st so we may finalize arrangements!
Each invitation has been thoughtfully extended to the guests named on the inner envelope. The names listed there indicate everyone included in your invitation. While we would love to celebrate with everyone, our venue and guest count require us to keep the celebration intimate, and we are unfortunately unable to accommodate additional guests. Thank you for your understanding!
Due to the limited capacity of the Church, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate all guests within the main Church. However, additional seating will be available outside, and an auxiliary viewing room will be provided for those who wish to enjoy the ceremony inside!
The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 PM. We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early to allow time to get settled and find your seat before Mass begins! As the ceremony will be held in an indoor/outdoor setting, we ask that everyone is comfortably seated before the arrival of the bridal party so we can ensure a smooth and uninterrupted start!
