Answer

All meals will be provided at The Adirondack League Club (ALC) throughout the weekend. The ALC is only a 9 minute drive from the Water's Edge so please come over for breakfast, lunch and activities! For those of you staying at The Adirondack League Club, we'll provide water in your room because the water is not potable. That said, we suggest you bring an extra water jug. Town is only 10 minutes away should you need anything!

ALC is the largest private preserve in the Adirondack Park, which consists of 6 million acres. Within the Club there are three club houses on Little Moose, Bisby and Honnendaga lakes. Houses on these lakes (and Woodhull Lake) are called Camps. There are 25 lakes within the Club. 10 miles of the Moose River flows through Club property. Before acid rain it was a great brook trout stream and is slowly making a comeback. Today membership comprises of over 400 members. There are twelve outlying camps for member use located on the river and lakes throughout the Club, they have stoves, bedding, cooking equipment, but no electricity or running water. The Club maintains 110 miles of clearly marked hiking trails. -Sanford Miller
