Nate and Margaret met their sophomore year at Miami University while watching a Georgia Bulldogs football game at the Theta Chi house (followed by a trip to the Brickstreet dancefloor #IYKYK). Nate had never seen a girl get so into a football game and Margaret had never seen a guy with such great dance moves. They became friends that night and stayed friends until Valentine's Day their senior year when Nate surprised Margaret with flowers and a poem on her doorstep. Four years later, Nate got down on one knee under the Oak tree in front of Margaret's childhood home and asked her to be his wife.
