Once upon a time on Northgate, there was a watering hole called Shiner Park, where people flocked to quench their thirst and enjoy music and friends. On one fateful night, Shiner Park was hosting the Velcro Pigmies, the renowned 80's cover band. Two young souls ventured in, captured by the sound of rock, and met in the crowd. That night, phone numbers were exchanged and they rocked out to live music. Weeks later they set up a date, and another date, and a third, turned into dating. With the young man's graduation rapidly approaching and talk of joining the Navy, plans started to be made. Graduation, Meet the Smith's, Meet the Griss Kykta's, Commission, CSTAT-Florida, COVID19, CSTAT-Corpus Christi, Graduation, Austin-Kingsville, Wings, Austin-Lemoore, Hanford, Graduation (Masters), Japan, and on and on the tale of these two will go. They have been there for each other for 7 years, some quick, some long, and now the rest of their years will be with one another.
