We're excited for you to come see all the things we love about Oregon. In case you have an extra day or two, here are a few recommendations around Mount Hood, as well as Portland and surrounding areas.
Hiking

Hiking

We'll be on Mount Hood for peak hiking season with wildflowers in bloom. Trailheads are littered throughout the Mount Hood National Forest. From the Lodge there is easy access to the Timberline Trail and the famous Pacific Crest Trail.

Hood River

Hood River

If you want to take the scenic route from Portland to Mount Hood, make a stop in the city of Hood River. About an hour away and right in the Columbia River Gorge, it's famous for kitesurfing, hiking, access to waterfalls, and is a favorite weekend getaway for Oregonians.

Multnomah Falls

Multnomah Falls

50000 Historic Columbia River Highway, Bridal Veil, OR 97010

Multnomah Falls is the tallest waterfall in Oregon (over 600 feet) and right off the highway near Hood River. Reserve your $2 ticket ahead of time on Recreation.gov
