Philadelphia Phillies Baseball Game
One of my absolute favorite things to do is go to a Phillies Game. Lets Go Phills!!!!
Longwood Gardens - Main Entrance
This is a beautiful place to walk through that is close to Tyler. There are greenhouses, fountains and lots of beautiful walks outside to take.
The Franklin Institute
This is an interactive museum that is amazing for all ages. The human body exhibit allows you to walk through a heart, learn about blood pumping and more. I am not a huge museum fan but this is one of my favorites.
The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University
Great for all ages! There is a cool Dino exhibit, as well as a butterfly garden and many other hands on exhibits
Liberty Bell Center
Starting in the 1800s the Liberty Bell traveled around the country to expositions and fairs in an attempt to heal the divisions of the Civil War. It reminded Americans of their earlier days when they fount and worked together for their independence from Great Britain.
Independence Hall
Independence Hall is where the US was founded. The Declaration of Independence was signed there uniting the states against Great Britain. 11 Year later the framework for the US government was signed there.
Philadelphia Museum of Art Steps "Rocky Statue"
A near-constant flow of people arrive daily at the bottom of the stairs at the Philadelphia Museum of Art to snap a picture with the Rocky statue, originally created for a scene in Rocky III and now a real-life monument to a celluloid hero who endures as a favorite fictional son of the City of Brotherly Love.
King of Prussia Mall
If you are looking for some shopping, this is the place to be. One of the largest malls in America has everything you need and more.
First Watch
This is a great place for breakfast or lunch. There is one in the same shopping center as the hotel that we have booked. (10-20pp for breakfast)
Pat's King of Steaks
Pats Cheesestakes are a famous place to try Philadelphia's famous food. They have been open since 1930. My suggestions is a Cheesestake with cheese wiz and grilled onions. Definitely would not call this a healthy meal but your taste buds will thank you
Reading Terminal Market
Reading Terminal is a great place to go to try some of Philadelphias greatest. They have everything between Cheesestakes, banana pudding (Sweet Nina’s), Philadelphia Pork Roast Sandwich and much much more. You will not leave here hungry.
El Vez
A delicious Mexican restaurant in the heart of Philadelphia (25-35pp for dinner)
