What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. This is not a strict dress code, but please avoid t-shirts, shorts, jeans, athletic wear, etc.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event, so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes, we have reserved a wedding block at the Courtyard by Marriott Newark-University of Delaware. A link to the hotel is under the Travel tab.

Will transportation be provided to and from the hotel?

Answer

Yes, our hotel has a shuttle service that will bring you to and from our venue. More information can be found under the Travel tab.

Will there be food and drinks at cocktail hour?

Answer

Yes, after the wedding ceremony, we will be serving stationary hors d'oruvres accompanied by an open bar.

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes, we will have a buffet style dinner. Vegetarian options will be available but if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies please let us know as soon as possible. The open bar will remain open during dinner.
