Answer

The wedding attire is semi-formal or cocktail. Cocktail dresses, full-length or mid-length dresses, or elegant jumpsuits are perfect choices. Bring an extra layer because it can get chilly in the evenings. Suits or trousers paired with a blazer or sports coat are ideal. Dress shirts with or without ties are great. Flats, block heels, wedges, or platforms are recommended. The venue has brick paths and grassy areas.

The block is now full at the Terrace Hotel in downtown Lakeland. You should book directly with the hotel now.

Answer

No, we are hosting an adult-only celebration with the exception of the bride and groom’s own children and our nieces and nephews. We love your little (and not-so-little) ones, but we ask that only invited guests attend. Please no substitutions. Thank you for helping us celebrate in the way we’ve envisioned.

Answer

No, only guests specifically named on the invitation may attend the wedding. While we understand plans change, we are unable to accommodate any guest substitutions, including bringing a different family member, child, or friend in place of the invited guest.

Answer

Yes, we will provide shuttles between the Terrace Hotel and Adams Estate. Specific shuttle times will be added to the website when available. Ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft have limited availability in this area. When you RSVP, please indicate if you will be on the shuttle so we can accommodate all of our guests. For those staying at the Terrace Hotel or Adams Estate, there will be a printout with this information in your welcome materials in the room.

Yes, there is plenty of parking at Adams Estate, if you prefer to drive to and from your hotel. Shuttles are provided from the Terrace Hotel and Adams Estate, if needed.

We invite you to join us for a glass of champagne at 3:30 PM in the wedding garden at Adams Estate. The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM.

No, we're requesting that you refrain from taking photos or video during the ceremony. We want everyone to fully share and experience this special moment with us. We also want your faces and expressions captured by our photographers. Rest assured, we will share professional photos from our photographers afterward.

I know it's hard for northerners to imagine, but it can be damp and chilly in Florida in the winter. Days can be warm and evenings can be brisk. Definitely bring sunglasses for the ceremony. We suggest bringing an extra layer or wrap to ensure you're cozy throughout the night.
