Answer

If you are a citizen of the United States or United Kingdom you do not need a visa to travel to South Africa. You also do not need any special vaccinations to enter the country.

Question

Do you have recommendations on where to stay?

Answer

Yes, we have recommendations on areas to stay in Cape Town, especially if you've never been before. Please see the travel section of the site for the list of neighborhoods.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In late November, Cape Town is warm and sunny with little rain. It is the beginning of summer and it's a great time to visit beaches, dine outside, and hike trails around the city. Average high temperatures around 75 degrees Fahrenheit, low temperatures around 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. While tuxes and gowns are welcome, so are suits and cocktail dresses. Think "garden party" with spring/summer weather expected so prepare for sunshine!

Answer

Yes! There will be a bus organized to and from the venue for family and friends staying in central Cape Town.

How should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP via the wedding website. Invitations will include a QR code to respond with your RSVP. The RSVP page will only be available once invitations have been sent out.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding!
