Getting to Cuernavaca, Morelos Most international guests will arrive at Mexico City International Airport (MEX). From there, Cuernavaca is approximately 1–1.5 hours away by highway. Below are the easiest and most convenient travel options. ________________________________________ Option 1 — Direct Bus from the Airport (Most Recommended) The easiest option is the direct airport bus operated by Pullman de Morelos. How it works: 1. After exiting customs at the airport, follow signs for the bus terminal inside the airport. 2. Purchase a ticket to Cuernavaca (Casino de la Selva station). 3. Buses depart roughly every 30–60 minutes and the trip takes about 1 hour 30 minutes. Once in Cuernavaca, you can take a short Uber or taxi to your hotel or the wedding venue. ________________________________________ Option 2 — Bus from Mexico City Bus Terminal If you are staying in Mexico City first, take a bus from: Terminal Central del Sur (Taxqueña) Recommended bus companies: • Pullman de Morelos • ETN Turistar Buses depart approximately every 30 minutes and the journey takes about 1 hour. ________________________________________ Option 3 — Private Car or Rental Guests may also choose to rent a car at the airport with companies such as: • Hertz • Avis • Enterprise Rent-A-Car Driving details: • Distance: ~73 km • Travel time: about 1–1.5 hours via toll highway. Question

How high is Cuernavaca and will I feel the altitude?

Answer

The city sits around 1,500 m (5,000 ft) above sea level—elevated but generally comfortable for most visitors. Take it easy on your first day, drink plenty of water, and you’ll usually adjust quickly.

Question

What’s the weather like in November in Cuernavaca?

Answer

Daytime is warm and pleasant—around 25–27 °C (77–81 °F)—while evenings cool slightly to about 14–16 °C (57–61 °F). November is part of the dry season, so you can expect mostly sunny days with very little rain. We recommend bringing light clothing for the day and a light jacket or shawl for the evening. And don’t forget a swimsuit—Cuernavaca is known as the City of Eternal Spring, and many hotels and homes feature beautiful pools, making it a must! 🏊‍♀️🌴
