FAQs

Question

Are children and/or infants welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, this will be an ADULTS-ONLY (18+) celebration. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to celebrate with us on our big day!

Question

Where is the wedding going to take place?

Answer

Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place in San Marcos, CA at the same venue, Twin Oaks House & Gardens.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

See travel section for details.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors. The reception will take place in a climate controlled banquet tent.

Question

What weather should I expect?

Answer

Spring in North County San Diego is generally warm and sunny. Of course, we can’t guarantee anything, but keep an eye on the weather here (https://www.wunderground.com) in the weeks leading up to the wedding.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal dress code. Whimsical garden attire encouraged but not required (think bright colors, pastels, florals, vibrant prints, linen suits, etc).

Question

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

There is ample guest parking at our venue. Please stay safe and consider a ride service or carpooling if you plan to drink.

Question

I noticed the wedding is at a garden, should I worry about my heels sinking into the ground?

Answer

No. The “grass” areas throughout the venue are turf, and is pretty solid so no need to worry about heels sinking into the ground.

Question

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We look forward to celebrating with you on the day!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP at www.zola.com/wedding/mareyandjack/rsvp

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Friday, February 16, 2024, or sooner.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #HoorayForJackAndMarey so we can see them, too!

Question

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Yes, #HoorayForJackAndMarey.

Question

Who should I contact if I have any additional questions?

Answer

Feel free to send any additional questions you have for us to use directly via text/phone or via email at TheKaras2024@gmail.com.
