Newfields is a beautiful art museum that has a fantastic light exhibit during the winter months called Winterlights. We attended this exhibit last winter and it was a blast, and we would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Carmel Christkindlmarkt is a seasonal German holiday market where you can enjoy delicious German food and beverage offerings from over 60 huts, shop for unique gifts, and enjoy holiday music performed by artists from around the world.
Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum
Indiana and its capital are well known for the Indy 500, an annual 500-mile NTT INDYCAR Series race held at the 2.5-mile Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana. The IMS Museum celebrates and preserves the history behind the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indianapolis 500. Fun Fact: One of Andrew's first projects at Purdue was a collaboration with this museum!
Flix Brewhouse
Located in Carmel, Flix Brewhouse is a movie theater with full food and beverage service. Mattie and Andrew have enjoyed many a date night at the theater while getting to participate in special events for the re-screening of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Mattie's favorite Harry Potter movie and book!), Wicked, and many more. If you're looking for a fun meal and great vibes, Flix is the place to go!
Big Hoffa's Smokehouse
Big Hoffa's is a BBQ restaurant in Westfield that has a huge variety of BBQ options that the couple loves. Mattie likes the Davey Jones and Andrew likes the Teriyaki Bowl!
Handel's Homemade Ice Cream
We know it's cold out, but Handel's Ice Cream has been a staple in Andrew's childhood, and he made sure Mattie was just as obsessed with it. Handel's is a homemade ice cream shop with several locations in the midwest and features monthly flavors, along with a full menu that is always available.
