Garrett and Maren met in mid 2020 when he caught her eye on social media. Maren decided to start messaging Garrett on social media and pretty much instantly knew she would eventually date him. After a very awkward first meeting down the street of her friends house they started to hang out with a small group of friends to help get to know each other. Many late night Dutch Bros runs later they finally went on their first date. While Maren and Garrett have had many different conversations about it, they can not pinpoint their first date. It could either be; going to Dutch Bros and then racing up Austin Bluffs, going to Qudoba and on a drive, or Bird Dog and hot tubbing at Lifetime (whichever date it was, they were all perfect). A month or so later on December 2nd Garrett asked Maren to be his girlfriend and that begins the next chapter of their many together.
