Whiteface Lodge - Lake Placid, NY

Whiteface Lodge is where we are hosting both our ceremony & reception. We highly recommend booking rooms here. The resort is purely magical and we would love the opportunity to spend some extra time with you on property! We will plan some group activities for Saturday (S'mores & Ice skating & hot tubs, oh my!) The block of rooms we reserved check in Saturday, January 9th & check out Monday, January 11th. We secured incredible rates (this requires a 2 night minimum stay): One bedroom suite: $375 per night Two bedroom suite: $655 per night Featured Amenities: World-Class Spa, Multiple Onsite Dining Options, Outdoor Pool, Ice Skating Rink, a 45 ft Christmas Tree (yes, they are keeping it up just for us!) & more! Albany International Airport

Albany International Airport is about 2 hours away from the venue (130 miles). Daniel & I live about 15 minutes from this airport. If you are flying from Nashville, we recommend flying into Albany through Southwest. There are no non-stop options & the best flight option would stop over in Baltimore (We do not recommend a layover in Chicago). We suggest flying into Albany Friday, January 8th. You can rent a car out of Albany International Airport.

The Saranac Lake Airport is located 25 minutes from the Whiteface Lodge, and airlines run direct flights from Boston.

Other Flight Options

Depending on a visitor’s departure airport, flying via Cape Air (Tel: +1-866-CAPE-AIR) to Adirondack Regional Airport (SLK), just 16 miles (27km) from Lake Placid, This airport is VERY close to our venue, however it is probably the best for those flying out of airports in the northeast. Plattsburgh International Airport (PGB), which is conveniently located off New York’s I-87 highway about 40 miles (64km) from Lake Placid and one hour south of Montreal (also known as “Montreal’s U.S. Airport”) may be an option. There are daily scheduled flights between Plattsburgh International Airport and Boston Logan International Airport via Cape Air.
