We're getting married!

Knowing each other since 2nd grade is a real start but that's not why we're here. Brenden and Mareah became friends in 7th grade through mutual friends, Isaiah and Robert. We would all hang out as a group and create wonderful memories. When the summer before 8th grade came along that's when things started to change. Mareah and Brenden would meet up with other friends to talk about their summer reading project and there would be glances and comments made by friends that would speculate there was some feeling there. During meet the teacher night Mareah walked up to Brenden and said something along the lines of "Hi" and "You're finally taller than me." After walking away Brenden's mom sees right through Mareah telling him "Oh she likes you!" Fast forward about a month into 8th grade and spending loads of time together at school, Brenden and Mareah are at their friend Abby's birthday party. This is where it begins. Mareah was texting her friend and realizes that she likes Brenden! Feelings are realized and admitted a few days later. Brenden and Mareah go on their first date and declare themselves boyfriend and girlfriend.

The day started with the plans of Mareah going to get her nails done with her girlfriends because Brooke was in town from med school. As Mareah was getting ready, she was texting the girls about what they were wearing, they all said dresses, so she went along with it. She had Brenden help her pick out which dress and shoes to wear. When all of the girls arrive, they go get their nails done and go get teas and coffees. Meanwhile at the shared living space of Brenden and Mareah, Brenden had recruited friends and family to help decorate the apartment in balloons, silver streamers, white twinkle lights in a semi-circle with rose petals in the middle. They all put in so much work and then it was time to put final touches down, set up the hidden cameras, and for everyone else to hide. As the girls get back to the apartment, Mareah (with a drink and keys in hand) and Allyson walk to the door to go inside. Allyson takes Mareah's drink while she opens the door and once it is open Mareah freezes at what she sees.... so being the good friend she is, Allyson shoved Mareah in and closed the door. With sweaty palms Mareah listens as Brenden gives his speech on how much they have grown together and how he wants to keep growing together, then he gets down on one knee making Mareah cry and pops the question. Obviously, she said yes!! :)
