Is this a kid-friendly event?
Answer
As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this advance notice means you’re able to let your hair down and celebrate with us on the day!

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
The venue features grassy turf and rocky paths, so ladies, please consider your footwear accordingly. Additionally, please be aware that dinner will be hosted outdoors, so we recommend bringing a jacket to stay warm! Please avoid wearing black, olive, and sage, as the groomsmen and bridesmaids will be in these colors. We suggest opting for neutral colors, such as grays, light blues, and tans. Please refrain from wearing Hawaiian shirts.

How do I get to the venue?
Answer
Uber or Lyft is the preferred transportation option, as it's approximately a 15-20 minute ride from downtown Oceanside to the wedding venue. To ensure a smooth journey home, we strongly recommend scheduling your Uber or Lyft in advance. We suggest booking it for 10:15 PM PST. This way, you can enjoy the celebration without worrying about transportation later in the evening.

Is there parking?
Answer
Yes, there is parking available at Botanica for those who choose to leave their cars overnight. However, it's important to note that you must retrieve your vehicle by 9:30 AM PST the following day, as any cars left beyond that time will be subject to towing. Please ensure you adhere to this timeline to avoid any inconvenience.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We look forward to celebrating with you on the day!

Do you have a hotel block for guests?
Answer
No, there is no hotel block for guest. However, you can find recommendations for accommodations in the "Travel" section of our website. These suggested options are conveniently located approximately 20 minutes away from the venue. Please visit the travel section for details on where to stay during your visit.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The wedding will be primarily hosted outdoors, but in case of inclement weather, we have a contingency plan in place. We will relocate the event inside a tent to ensure everyone's comfort and enjoyment. Your experience will be wonderful, rain or shine!

What is the weather like in the area?
Answer
In August, you can expect Oceanside to have daytime temperatures ranging from 75 to 80 degrees, with nighttime lows around 65 degrees. It's the perfect climate to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and outdoor festivities during your visit.
