Washington, MO is a historic town that has trails along the riverfront of where Lewis & Clark journeyed on their venture to explore the west. This beautiful town is right on the Missouri River.
This coffee shop is located in downtown Washington near the riverfront. It connects to the parking lot of St Peter's Church, where Marcy's family used to go to church while she was growing up.
Marcy and her dad enjoy going to this coffee shop together to work on things. Marcy's dentist is in this same building on the top floor.
The St. Louis area is home to St. Louis Bread Company, also known as Panera Bread. There are several restaurants around the area including in Washington. This is one of Marcy's family's favorite places to go to study and work on things.
Missouri is the Gateway to the West! Home of the St. Louis Arch, a famous landmark. You can take a trip up to the top of the arch for a great view of the city.
Forest Park is the most popular park in St. Louis area. Marcy took Jeffrey here the first time he visited St. Louis. He thought it was beautiful! You can park near the Art Museum on Art Hill to access this park.
This museum borders Forest Park. There is a gorgeous lake right in front of it, which Marcy and Jeffrey walked around.
The St. Louis zoo is one of the top zoos in the US, and it is completely FREE! Marcy took Jeffrey here during his first visit to St. Louis. They had a great time together and saw lots of animals. There's more animals out and its less busy during the winter! And at night they have beautiful lights!!

There's 2 locations for Ted Drewes. It is the best ice cream in St. Louis. There is NO indoor seating. But even in snowing weather there will be a line outside this shop with people eating in their cars. Marcy took Jeffrey here the first time he visited St. Louis, he got the turtle sundae.
