Stroll the Streets
One of the best things to do in SMA is explore the cobblestone streets. There are tons of great shops and restaurants in town, and several options to explore from the main square, Jardin Allende.
Mercado de Artesanías
Open daily from 9 am until 7 pm. The local market is overloaded with hand-crafted items. Stalls sell pendants and rings, hand-painted traditional Mexican ceramics, hanging lamps and Oaxacan rugs and clothing.

Renovated textile mill housing cafes, shops & galleries with works by local artists in many mediums.
Visit the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel
Located in the middle of the center square, the cathedral can be seen from all around the city. It is definitely worth visiting and taking a tour inside to take in the beauty.
