Anthony and Marcy met on the online dating app Hinge in December of 2023. They matched over a simple, yet important prompt: What does your typical Sunday look like? They both spent their Sundays at the gym, grocery shopping, meal prepping, and doing laundry. All in that order. Anthony claims that she liked his profile first while Marcy claims it was the other way around. We may never know. After making Anthony wait almost two weeks, they went on their first date on December 26th. Their first date was at The Burrow in Oakdale where Anthony still remembers the exact outfit she wore, and how big and beautiful her smile was from across the room as she entered the building. The night consisted of chatting, sharing tons of laughs, axe throwing, and playing arcade games. It felt as if they had known each other their entire lives and were two kids again with not a care in the world. From there, it was easy for the two of them to know that this was something special. They continued going on more amazing dates together until a few months later when Anthony asked Marcy to officially be his girlfriend at a Sunday church service. From there they've strived to always keep God at the center of their relationship and would later get baptized together in the summer of 2024. In the fall of 2024, Anthony began planning the proposal with Marcy's sister, Bri. He had envisioned proposing to her at a cabin with a beautiful, fresh, snowy white background. Little did she know, Marcy unintentionally helped plan her own proposal by one day suggesting that they do a winter cabin trip. The weekend before Christmas, Anthony, Marcy, and Bri made their way to a cabin in Finlayson, Minnesota where luckily enough, it snowed a fresh coat of beautiful white snow the day before the trip. On December 21st, Anthony asked Marcy to make him the luckiest man in the world. These days they still love spending their entire Sundays together at the gym, grocery store, meal prepping, and doing laundry. Only now, their favorite thing to do together on their Sundays is going to church.
