We Met: December 31, 2013 Moved In together: November 1, 2015 Got Engaged: May 31, 2021 I Do: December 3, 2022 Our relationship has weathered losses, moves, undergraduate and graduate degrees, job changes, and a dozen magical travels. We cannot wait for this new chapter and hope you all will join us as we finally say “I Do”.

We went hiking on Memorial Day in Asheville, North Carolina. We hiked the Crabtree Falls trail to the waterfall. John got down on one knee while on the bridge at the base of the fall. Once he pulled the box out, I grabbed the ring and everybody cheered. We continued our hike and when we reached the top of the waterfall, John recreated the moment and asked again. This time I said yes and allowed John to put the ring on my finger.
