Marcus and Brianna met at Grand Canyon University where they were both recipients of the Students Inspiring Students Scholarship. They started off as coworkers, to then friends, to then dating in 2021. Marcus y Brianna se conocieron en la Universidad Grand Canyon mientras ambos eran becarios del programa "Estudiantes Inspirando Estudiantes". Comenzaron como compañeros de trabajo, luego se hicieron amigos y, finalmente, en 2021, se convirtieron en novios.
