I had a huge crush on Marcus our senior year of high school. He didn't know who I was, but I knew of him because he was friends with my cousin. I told some of my family about this crush and after his semi-final game for football, my aunt called him over to take a picture with me. I was extremely embarrassed and super awkward. After that picture we stayed in contact on and off again, until about a few years ago where it just all stuck. It was the right timing finally. And after that the rest is history! 10 years later, we are getting married! We couldn't be happier!

Every year the Ford's have an annual tree cutting day for getting a Christmas tree. It is a full day adventure! This year was different, but no one knew but a couple people. After going to one tree farm and failing to find a tree, we moved on to the next. We got the Church's Tree Farm and walked around countless times to try to find the perfect tree. When we finally did, Marcus asked me if the tree was "the one", and with everyone surrounding us not knowing what was about to go down, he got down on one knee. And of course I said YES!
