We met in May 2021 on Mirchi, an Indian dating app. Marcus lived in California. Saawan lived in Atlanta. A simple match grew into long conversations, late nights, and a natural sense of connection. We chose long distance and spent almost a year building trust through calls, visits, and shared plans. In March 2022, Saawan moved to California and we made Irvine our home. Life there from March 2022 to April 2024 shaped our relationship through everyday moments, shared routines, and growing partnership. In April 2024, we moved to Winchester, Virginia to be closer to Saawan’s family. The move began a new chapter rooted in love, growth, and building a life together.
