Yes. Attire is semi-formal/ cocktail in any shade of brown. We invite personality and style. Just remember to keep it monochrome! NOLA is extremely humid in June. Dress in light fabrics and aim for beauty and comfort. We have provided a mood board in our photo gallery for inspiration.
Great question! Please join the bride, groom, and wedding party outside of the Pharmacy Museum at 5:15. Second Line parade kicks off our celebration at 5:30pm and once the parade starts moving, it doesn’t stop for anyone. We would love everyone to be in attendance. So please be on time! P.S. Remember to wear your dancing shoes!
Marcus and Nijah have planned this event to be extremely intimate. All guests invited were handpicked by the bride and groom, and although we know your wonderful dates would add amazing vibes to the day, only guests who received an invite are expected to be in attendance at ceremony/reception dinner. If you have friends in town, they are invited to join the Second Line parade. It is open to everyone!
Fortunately, you won’t need it! The couple has planned all events within walking distance of one another. The Omni Royal is on the same block as the Pharmacy Museum. The group will second line (march in the parade) to the restaurant where the reception will be held. At the end of the night, folks can go their separate ways and explore NOLA, take a taxi back to their hotel, or walk in groups. Guests are responsible for their transportation to and from the airport. Inquire with your hotel about shuttle service.
Absolutely! Please inform Nijah and Marcus of any food allergies or dietary restrictions you may have.
Only 15 guests are allowed to observe the ceremony. Marcus and Nijah decided to elope rather than have a full wedding because they wanted a private and intimate ceremony while also being able to celebrate, eat, and be merry with their closest relatives and friends. No worries! After the ceremony, the party is just beginning!
