Natalie had to sign for her own engagement ring because it showed up late so she had a hint that an engagement was happening soon! Marcus tried to plan it on the golf course but rain had another idea to interfere with the day! As we were driving back Marcus couldn’t wait anymore and we took a walk down the pier at crooked lake park in Siren. When Natalie found out what we were doing she asked me very excitedly if I was going to say nice things to her and that I need to get down on one knee! After proposing on the dock and tears of joy we celebrated together at Zia’s and later on with our families!

Natalie recently took a job at siren schools and I came walking into the cafeteria when I saw her sitting at a table and we made eye contact. When one night I needed help running the concessions stand I approached her and asked her if she’d like to help me out! She said yes and we had a blast working the stand together and then she asked me if I’d like to go out for a drink afterwards and I completely shut down and had a panic attack that this gorgeous girl asked me out for a drink! I then invited her on a trip down to Menards to remodel the kitchen sink and spend more time together! After that we saw each other very frequently having deep conversations and the rest is history!
