If you're driving from NYC, it's about 2 hours by car. For friends and family traveling from New York City who don't have a car, we recommend taking the Metro North train from Grand Central to the Beacon stop (Hudson 8823 Poughkeepsie Line), and then taking an Uber or call-ahead taxi to Brotherhood Winery. It's about a 25-minute drive from the station. To return home, the Metro North train back to NYC leaves from Beacon every hour, with the last train leaving at 12:17 a.m. (if you miss this one, you'll have to wait until 4:30 a.m.). The reception will wrap up around 9 p.m., so if you need to get back to the city for work on Monday, you should be okay. We have reserved a hotel block of 15 rooms here which are first-come, first served for Saturday and Sunday. Just call the hotel to tell them you're attending the Beckman-Demery wedding and you'll be given a $239 rate for Saturday (compared to the standard $299). For the discounted rate, you must reserve it by September 17th! If you're booking for Sunday night ONLY, just book it directly through the website since its slightly cheaper.

It's slightly more expensive than Courtyard -- $299 for Saturday and $189 for Sunday -- however they have larger suites that are good for families.
