We are so excited to celebrate with you!

Marcus and Kasi met each other Freshman year at Taunton High School. Their friendship really took off Sophomore year when they had Biology together with Ms. Rak or as they like to remember her as, Edna Mode. A fond memory for both was in class one day they were goofing around, when Ms. Rak walked in and only Marcus got in trouble. By senior year, Kasi, Marcus, and the rest of the gang were spending every weekend together until they went off to college. Marcus even went up to UMass senior year over winter break with Kasi and lived to tell the UMass experience. College graduation came and went and the Taunton gang was back together spending every weekend together. Marcus would ask Kasi to go on a date here and there and she'd say "no we are friends". Then one day she asked Marcus to go to the Lobster Trap and the rest is history.

Marcus and Kasi headed into Boston with Amanda and Connor for the night to celebrate Amanda's birthday. On the ride up, Marcus was quite nervous, shaking his leg constantly and making random comments. Amanda and Connor kept the conversation on track. Marcus at one point even asked Kasi if she ever saw any of the Marvel movies. They saw Black Panther in theater together. Once they got to the hotel, they walked over to the North End and had lunch at Carmelina's. After eating dishes of pasta and drinking Aperol Spritz, cannolis were bought. The four headed back to the hotel, walking along the waterfront, and took a seat at Independence Wharf to eat some cannolis. Kasi was taking photos of the water when Marcus came up behind her and asked her to turn around. When she turned, he was down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She obviously said yes! (with a lot of tears). A few of their other friends were there waiting for Marcus to pop the question. They all went out to celebrate in Boston afterwards.
