We're getting married!

From meeting for the first time to our early first messages, we knew something felt different. We met for our first date on December 14th at Rosita’s, in Austin, where we instantly clicked over deep conversations, nonstop laughter, and a shared sense that this connection was something rare. We quickly discovered we had so much in common: we’re both engineers with creative, artistic roots, we both love a good workout, cooking up a delicious meal, watch films, and we both live for a good Whole Foods run. Some people say “when you know, you know,” and for us, that feeling was instant. We just knew we had found our soulmate.

Whole Foods eventually became our daily ritual and our favorite place, so it was only fitting that Marcus proposed in the place that felt like “ours,” our beloved Whole Foods, where so much of our everyday life happens. He got down on one knee right in the middle of the aisle, completely surprising me. I cried “YES!” and Marcus’ mom was there to witness the moment. It was simple, emotional, and absolutely perfect! A memory we’ll cherish forever. And now, we can’t wait to begin the rest of our forever together. We are so excited to celebrate this union with you all! See you in Dalton!
