How do I RSVP? When do I need RSVP?

Please use this website to RSVP. We will love you forever if you RSVP by March 20th, 2024.

Where is the wedding? Is the reception at the same place?
Answer
The wedding and reception will take place at Clos LaChance Winery at 1 Hummingbird Lane, San Martin, California, 95046. This is in the Bay area near the city of Morgan Hill, about 45 minutes south of San Jose.

How do I get to the wedding venue?
Answer
There will be a shuttle running from the Hyatt House in Santa Clara on Saturday afternoon to take guests to the wedding venue. The shuttle will also bring guests back to the Hyatt House after the festivities. You may also drive directly to the venue and park on site there.
Question
Is the wedding inside or outside? How should I dress?
Answer
The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will be outdoors. Dancing will be indoors. April in California is often warm during the day but will cool down after sunset, so we encourage guests to bring an extra layer. We will have heaters on the patio during dinner to help keep everyone warm.

What will happen between the wedding and the reception?
Answer
There will be a cocktail hour in the grove area of the winery. White and red wines will be available along with some delicious appetizers.

What time should I arrive? When will the reception end?
Answer
We encourage guests to arrive between 5:00 and 5:20pm for a 5:30 ceremony start. We anticipate the reception will last until 11:00pm.

Where should I stay? Are there reserved hotel rooms for wedding guests?
Answer
Because our guest list is relatively small, we did not reserve a block of hotel rooms. We have made some recommendations on our travel section of the website based on proximity to where we live and where the shuttle will run, but you are welcome to stay in your hotel of choice.

Are children invited?
Answer
Yes! We are happy to have children attend the ceremony and reception. The winery age restrictions do not apply to weddings.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We have no particular requests for guest attire. The wedding ceremony will take place on the lawn, so you may wish to wear shoes that are comfortable for walking on grass. The rest of the activities will be in areas with hard walking surfaces.

How do I choose a meal?
Answer
We have opted for duet plates which include both steak and chicken portions for everyone. If you prefer a vegetarian meal, please note that in your RSVP.

I have a food allergy or strong preference about my meal. How do I make sure my meal will be right for me?
Answer
Our caterer is a pro at making sure everyone's needs are met. Please note any allergies or other needs about your meal in your RSVP, and we will make sure your dinner is one that you will enjoy.
