Our story began in the fall of 2018 during the holiday season. Although we had connected before, our first time officially meeting in person was on Thanksgiving Day. The very next day, we went on our first “date” Black Friday shopping followed by dinner at TGI Fridays. After dinner, we sat in the car talking for over four hours about everything imaginable, and from that moment on, we were inseparable. The next day, we both returned to campus, but we spent every day after that together. NC A&T is where we truly fell in love, from trips to The Dome, taco nights in our apartments, and cuddling with our first baby, Hazel Bean Battle. Since then, we’ve weathered storms together, navigated the adventure of our early twenties, and started a beautiful family. Now, we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of our story beginning on September 26, 2026.
