Jaquette and Marcus's Story We met on my front porch. Marcus was visiting his dad who stayed next door to me. We saw each other before that day but we never exchanged words or even a look. One day he was sitting on the porch with his dad and I came outside and we begin to have a conversation about what we were looking for in life and for ourselves. One thing that was clear and which we shared was that we wanted a closer and deeper relationship with God. I was so impressed with his desire to search God, I wanted to know more about who he was. We began talking more and getting to know each other. That's when we realized that were seeking the same things out life. Today as we began our journey of love and we continue keeping God in the center of our union, we take the first step in spending the rest our lives together. Committing ourselves completely to God and always keeping Him first and foremost.
