We're getting married!

In 2017, Jana and her kids began renting a house from a(nother) large, homeschool family who had recently moved out of the area. For the next year and a half, she would mainly communicate with the landlords via text, only meeting them in person once. Eventually, Jana bought her own house nearby, closing their chapter at the little house on Hill Street. Hours away in the city of Lufkin, Marcus and his kids spent the next few years adjusting to their own new normal. Little did these two know, God would bring them back together a few years later - using, of all things, TikTok! They messaged occasionally on TikTok, asking how their family was, etc. Marcus was always friendly, but in all honesty, he couldn't remember how he even knew her! Finally one day, he broke down and asked, "You look familiar, but how do I know you??" The two had a good laugh about it and eventually the texts shifted to phone calls and long conversations. One day, several weeks later, Marcus drove 2 hours from Lufkin to Nederland for their first date! He had planned the most amazing day, with every detail thoughtfully considered. He brought her to a wholesale florist shop, where he insisted they find her favorite flowers, tulips. He wouldn't let a little thing like Seasons stop him! They built a beautiful bouquet together and he even brought home flowers for his girls. Later that day, they went out to eat and drove over to the Event Center park in Beaumont. They both agreed it was a wonderful first date and they wanted to see each other again soon.
