We're Getting Married!

While initially we were both embarrassed to admit it, we are now proud to say we met on Tinder. Despite going to school in Towson, MD, Erin was home for the weekend in Lancaster when she got a notification that Marcus had "Super-liked" her. After a brief conversation, there was a slight delay as Erin ended up ghosting Marcus for about 2 weeks before he boldly messaged her a second time.... and thank goodness he did. Our first date was at the movies where after it ended we stood freezing in the parking lot and eventually moving into a car where we sat and talked for hours. And the rest was history

Everyone loves a Covid Proposal right? It was my birthday and all I knew is that we were going up to my parents to have a small picnic to celebrate. We were sitting on the back porch when my 2 best friends from college came walking up the back steps (who at this point I had not seen in over 6 months). There was lots of crying and screaming in excitement! The day went on and again were sitting on the back porch and our friends just casually walked around the side of the house and completely surprised me! At this point, I still believed this was just for my birthday. When it was time to receive gifts, they had me stand in the middle of my backyard with my eyes covered (which I was very annoyed about) since the gifts weren't wrapped. They brought out the first gift and I turned around and absolutely loved it. Then they had me do the same thing for the second gift. This time when I turned around it was Marcus down on one knee and a Yeti cooler (if anyone knows us they know we have a slight obsession) with "Will you Marry Me" written in it. Being surrounded by friends and family and being asked to marry the love of my life. It was absolutely perfect. - Erin
