Is there a dress code?

Answer

While we enjoy being relaxed and comfy most of the time, we do ask that you dress up for our big day! We welcome all formal attire (cocktail dresses and suits). Ladies, since the reception venue is outside and you may want to walk around the grounds, especially in grass, please be mindful when wearing skinny heels.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

There will be transportation from both the Marriott Naperville and Hotel Arista to Northfork Farm. Please reference the travel page on the website for more information. We have limited capacity on both shuttles so if you are not able to get on one of the shuttles, please be sure to arrange your own transportation to and from the reception, as the shuttles are doing one pickup and one drop-off before and after reception. There are several options including Ubers/Lyfts or a car service.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

St. Raphael Catholic Church has a large parking lot (free parking). Northfork Farm has a large parking lot (free parking) and parking attendants will be present at Northfork Farm to assist. If you need additional mobility assistance, golf carts will be available.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

When submitting your RSVP, please include any allergies and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at Amazon, Crate & Barrel, and Sur La Table. You can find these under the "Registry" tab.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please only bring a date if the invitation includes a guest/plus 1.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we enjoy all kids, we are asking that you only bring your kids if they are included in the invitation.

What if Hotel Arista doesn't have any more rooms available when we try and book?

Answer

Please reach out to Marcus or Emily directly. We have done our best to anticipate the number of guests needing a hotel room. Either one of us can add a room to our block if there is hotel availability so please reach out to us and we will handle directly with Hotel Arista. If they cannot add any more rooms, feel free to book a room at the Marriott Naperville under our wedding room block.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive between 1:30pm-1:45pm at St. Raphael Catholic Church.

How long is the ride from Naperville to Northfork Farm?

Answer

From either St. Raphael or the two Naperville hotels, the drive is 30 minutes to Northfork Farm.

What should we do after the wedding ceremony?

Answer

If you are planning on taking one of our shuttles, we encourage you to head to the Naperville Marriott or Hotel Arista immediately after the conclusion of the ceremony to ensure you get on the shuttle. If you are driving to Northfork Farm, feel free to head to downtown Naperville to explore our vibrant downtown!

Are there hotels closer to Northfork Farm?

Answer

Yes! We are only doing room blocks and shuttle transportation at the two Naperville hotels. Feel free to book rooms at a hotel closer to Northfork Farm if you would like!
