“ We’re getting married “!

My sister Ashlee Conyers and Marcus’ first cousin Ryan Conyers are married and introduced us to each other. I was in my I am just going to be by myself phase when they introduced us so needless to say I really wasn’t interested in being in a relationship at that time. I decided to give it a try never thinking in my wildest dreams that we would fall in love and get married! We had our first phone conversation on December 5, 2023 and surprisingly hit it off very well! We continued to talk and get closer and closer and then decided to go out on our first date. Marcus came to Birmingham Alabama on February 11,2024 and we had our first date! We had an amazing weekend together! We had lunch at CharBar restaurant then went to the gun range, which was my first time going!Later on we went to the Anime Convention then ended the day with dinner at Bellini Italian Restaurant! We have been going strong ever since, traveling back and forth from Thomasville to Birmingham to spend time together! Although we have a long distance relationship we have not missed a beat and every time we see each other it’s just as exciting as the first time❤️

Marcus and I attended my sister and brother in laws wedding in 2015. I was the maid of honor and he was a guest. Funny thing is neither one of us saw each other at the wedding, reception, or rehearsal dinner. Obviously God was not ready for us to meet in 2015 but 7 years later it was TIME!!!

Years ago I was having a conversation with my sisters and I made the comment I was never going to get married. My sisters said you don’t know what God is going to do then I said jokingly if I get married Iam going to play At Last by Etta James at my wedding because FINALLY my love has come along😂! On our first date we were sitting in the restaurant and At Last started playing on the radio I didn’t say anything to Marcus but my mind was completely blown! Then when we decided to get married I bought a wedding planner to help keep everything organized and under the music selections At Last was pre printed in my planner as a song selection!! Again my mind was blown!! Marcus and I getting married is definitely ordained by God because He has confirmed it over and over again! I am so grateful that the Lord allowed us to meet in his divine timing ❤️❤️❤️
