We're Getting Married!

Luckily for me, it was a nice clear warm day, and funny enough, we decided to spend most of it inside. I wanted to make it seem like just any other day so we didn't do anything too crazy. It was a nice relaxing day of watching the Mentalist and then spending our early afternoon duckpin bowling, which was a first for me. Then for dinner I took Christina out to Tofte's Table in Waukesha, a nice restaurant in the area. After dinner I took Christina on a walk down the Fox River in Waukesha. My plan was then to propose to Christina at the formal gardens right off the Riverwalk. The thing I didn't plan for was the Carroll University baseball team playing a game right next door to the gardens. All I could hear was the announcer yelling out introductions and loud music playing for every player when they came up to the plate. I was a little panicked and started picturing Christina not hearing a word I would be saying because of the next player being announced. But it was too late now, so we still went over to the gardens. And luckily it ended up being in-between innings by the time I popped the question to Christina. She said "Yes!" and we continued our walk around the Riverwalk for the next half hour. The rest of that night flew by for me but all I knew was that I was incredibly happy.
