Please wear cocktail / semi-formal attire. Cocktail dresses, little black dresses, dressy jumpsuits, slacks, nice button downs, etc. More formal attire is welcome if you'd like to get all dressed up. Put your Detroit spin on your look! Show up and show out like you born and raised from the D. We want to see your buffs (Cartier glasses for the older folks), fur coats, snake skin boots, chains, etc. Come dressed to impress and let's show the city how we do! And of course, because we are The Jordans, you can wear your Jordan sneakers! Please no casual wear - jeans, shorts, t-shirts, etc. Please do not wear white.
To keep our wedding small and centered around the ones that we love most, our wedding guest list is limited to those invited in your RSVP group. If you believe you should have a plus one in your group and you do not, please reach out to the bride or groom.
Our wedding and reception will be largely kid free. If your children are not included in your RSVP group, please do not bring them as we don't have space to accommodate them.
Our wedding is Downtown Detroit, so guests will need to arrive early to allot time for parking. The Shinola Hotel does not provide self-parking. You can valet your car at the venue for forty dollars per car or locate parking in a nearby garage. Here are a few that we know of: Z Deck Garage, 219 Gratiot Ave. Opera House Parking Center, 1426 Broadway St.
