We met in March of 2022 in the typical millennial way--on a dating app. We chose to have an adventurous first date. We grabbed a bite to eat at one of Marcus' favorite restaurants in DC, Stan's, followed by axe throwing! At the axe venue, we were paired up with a couple celebrating their 5 year anniversary and they couldn't believe it was our first date--the conversation and connection was natural from the beginning. In August 2024, we traveled to Marcus' hometown of Chicago to celebrate Alycia's 35th birthday. We spent Alycia's birthday visiting many of Chicago's hot spots like The Bean and Navy Pier. Before dinner, we took a stroll downtown near the Wrigley Building where Marcus surprised Alycia by dropping to one knee and asking her to marry him. To top it off, Marcus lined up a photographer to capture the moment. The engagement photos on our website are from that magical night in Chi-town. As a couple who loves to travel, the adventure continues in beautiful Santorini, Greece...we can't wait to celebrate with you!
