Crystal River, FL

Two diamonds in the rough

It all started with a random Ad on Facebook, for an App we both thought was fake. After taking a personality quiz and waiting several days for my "perfect match" I was greeted by a message from a girl I instantly thought was: out of my league, too cute to be messaging me, and lived in Crystal River (I thought there's no girls like that in Citrus County). So we messaged back and forth, and video chatted at night before bed everyday. Conversations never saw an end, finding segue after segue we delved into each others lives, taking breaks to laugh and for Ally to sneeze. I finally convinced Ally to meet me at the local mall near her on November 1st, 2018. The anticipation of waiting for someone and hoping they're just like the person you've been talking to for weeks is intense, and I felt a real heavy feeling in my heart. That instantly subsided when I hugged Ally and said she smelled like a tree and told her that from here on out her life was going to change. Since that night we went on dates every night we could financially, or in her case, mentally afford it. If we didn't physically see each other, we made sure to video chat at the same time every night. Things seemed to be clicking together like that last puzzle piece falling into place; we completed each other. So naturally I moved in months later and it felt like years were going by, always asking each other what month anniversary is coming up and being horrified its only been 4 months. Planning trips to Scotland and buying a house together, I started to feel like we were doing a lot of things backwards, so I started hatching plans to get ahead of Ally and her crazy ambitious momentum. Asking her mother for permission to marry her, making the movie and buying the ring were easy; however, dragging a blind folded Ally through a crowded beach at sunset proved more difficult. But more worth it to me than anything that I will be able to call her my wife in a couple months. Love you Ally, Marcus
