The Westin Wilmington is located on the Wilmington Riverfront. It is a 20 minute drive to Winterthur, and is close to several bars, breweries, and restaurants along the river. All previous registrations were cancelled.

This hotel is 10 minutes away from Winterthur, and is close to several local attractions including the Chadds Ford winery, Longwood Gardens, and Kennett Square. To book using our Room Block rate, please call the number listed above and reference the Marcos-Engber Wedding Block. ***UPDATE: All guests with previous room reservations were automatically updated to the new wedding registration room block (9/3/2021 - 9/5/2021). Limited rooms still available.

While we have room blocks at the hotels above, there are other options in the area, including local B&Bs in the Kennett Square area and the Hotel DuPont. The Hyatt Place and Homewood Suites on the Wilmington Riverfront are currently being built and will be available for booking prior to the wedding as well.

Shuttle

Shuttle

September 4, 2021 5:30 pm - 12:30 am

The Westin shuttle will depart at 5:30pm. The Mendenhall Inn shuttle will depart at 5:30pm. The Inn at Montchanin shuttle will depart at 5:50pm. There will be two shuttle return times from the reception for each hotel: 11:30pm and 12:30am.

Flight

Philadelphia International Airport

For guests flying in from out of town, we recommend flying into Philadelphia International Airport, which is about a 30 minute drive to our recommended hotels.

Wilmington's Amtrak station is approximately 7 miles from Winterthur (about a 15 minute drive).
